Week 33 Blog Shopping Bag Album

I fell in love with this when I first saw it in Donna’s book and knew I had to do it! So, the search for prong fasteners began! My husband told me they would probably be in Staples, but I was determined to find them somewhere else…besides, I didn’t want 100 of them. But after months of searching- he was right! And I came home from Staples with a box of 100 prong fasteners…2 of which promptly got used for this project!

This cute little “album” is made from 4 craft shopping bags with handles- 2 of which are cut 2 inches above the bottom flap to create various flaps to hold receipts, business cards, newspaper ads and journaling that serves as evidence of my shopping habits!! ( And future generations will see what things cost “way back when” !!)

  2. Hi Debi! Great to catch up on your projects! They look so fun! My question is what do you use to print the lettering? Is that a machine or just your computer? Thanks! 🙂

    • Hi Christine, thanx for visiting! I have been having such fun making these projects! The lettering from the “Confessions ” album is Creative Memories sticker letters. Often, I use the computer with my favorite fonts to do my journaling!
      We should get together! Debi
